About Mori

Intro: Hi everyone, my name is Mori and this is a little get to know me, if that interests you.

I have a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design and a BA Degree in Visual Communication.

I live in Birmingham, UK. My pronouns are he/him/they/them and I am part of the LGBT+ community.
I am alternative, heavily into fantasy/sci-fi and I'm an animal lover.

Being creative is my life and think its important that creatives cheer each other on.

Dolls: I've always loved dolls of all sorts ranging from Barbie, Sindy, Disney and even porcelain dolls. I got my first bjd in 2007 and have had them since. In 2008 I did my first face up and customised an event pet doll. Honestly, it was hilarious but we all have a starting point! After gaining more experience I opened up for commissions a few months later.

Over my years collecting I have personally owned around 200 different sculpts, though I now house around 10 bjd. I have customised 400+ dolls and have done everything apart from dyeing a doll or making eyes, but that is in the works also. I have done repairs, customisation, clothing, wigs, props, furniture, handmade eyelashes, jewellery and more. All of this was done under my old name Lunar Pendrith.

During 2019/2020 I took fewer commissions while I worked through some personal creative issues but now I am back full force, under a new name, which quite simply, is my name.

I'm excited to take on commissions and provide stock pieces for sale in my etsy shop! I'm also expanding what dolls I work on in a big way, including Monster High, Fashion dolls and even Vintage figures.
